Saturday, October 15 | 1-5pm
Join us for another year of Open Gate at The Seed Farm! Penn State Extension has organized Open Gate Farm Tours of Lehigh and Northampton County farms for over four decades to educate the public on local agriculture. Come and see what has been happening on our farm this year!
  • Take a tour and meet farmers from our Farm Business Incubator Program.
  • Watch a demonstration (and try your hand at!) using a new drill-powered baby greens harvester that can harvest a 30″ bed in a single pass! Demo lead by Brandon Haines of Johnny’s Seeds.
  • Learn about our participation in a state-wide 2022 tomato trial run by Penn State Ag Extension.
