Lock 2 Clean-Up (Allentown Hiking Club event)

“We will be removing invasive vegetation and opening up the trail leading to Lock #2. If time permits we will also work on Lock #1.

We will meet at the trestle bridge at 10:00 a.m. in the Leigh Gorge State Park. Please bring tools, gloves, water and lunch. I will have extra gloves, rakes, loppers and a weed wacker for those who do not have tools. We will cross over the trestle bridge and take the trail immediately after crossing to the left that leads down to the locks. Make sure your vehicles are completely off the road. There is a parking lot past the trestle bridge that will accommodate a large number of vehicles.”
