from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Join us Sept. 13 to Ban Fracking in Delaware River Watershed!
Delaware River Basin Commission to Commence Enacting a Ban! BE THERE!
BREAKING! The Associated Press reports that the Delaware River Basin Commission Will Propose a Fracking Ban in Watershed and that details will be announced at the DRBC’s public meeting this Wednesday. Please be there to support this groundbreaking development which we have all been fighting so hard for, for so long! See the news report here.
You can still sign up to speak in support of the adoption of a complete and permanent fracking ban at the meeting. Register with DRBC here.
Join your friends, neighbors, and students to make clear to the Delaware River Basin Commission at their public meeting being held at the Community College that we want our great river to be great forever, to thrive for the generations to come and that fracking and drilling must be banned if a future of clean water and air, community and watershed health, economic stability, and beauty are to be realized.
Tell the Commissioners, who will ultimately decide whether or not enact the ban, what it is about your part of this watershed you cherish and why fracking threatens it. We will gather at 9:30 am in front of the Community College’s Linksz Pavilion where the DRBC will meet, we will show our commitment to defend our river and all its myriad components with signs, photos, and song. Then we’ll attend the 10:30 meeting and speak up during public comment. Please join us!
