How to get a listing in the Directory

The directory focuses on organizations and agencies whose primary purpose promotes the long-term sustainability of people, communities, and the environment; it also includes artwork and commentaries and a special section listing professionals and businesses that support sustainability.

The print edition is professionally printed here in the Lehigh Valley and is distributed in locations throughout the Valley. Single copies are free. Initial distribution of the new edition is at Earth Day events throughout the Valley. 

Listings from the directory will also be featured on our website from time to time. 

If you would like your organization, business, or professional service listed in the directory:

[ NOTE: DEADLINE for the 2010 print edition is February 10, 2010.]

1) Please go to the appropriate on-line Directory (Organizations, Business & Professional, or Holistic Health) and click on the ADD ORGANIZATION (or ADD HEALTH PROVIDER) link at the top of the page. Fill out the online form and the information will be sent to the Directory team for review. [You can also download the Request for Directory listing form (see below) and mail it to us.] 

The 25- to 100-word description should indicate in what way(s) it promotes the long-term sustainability of people, communities, and/or the environment

2) Secondly, for-profit businesses, as an expression of their support for sustainability, are required to submit a signed endorsement form, thereby endorsing the Alliance sustainability mission, vision, and goals (these are printed on the endorsement form). Mail the signed form to: The Alliance, 1966 Creek Rd, Bethlehem PA 18015.

We would hope that nonprofits would also send in signed endorsement forms.

3) Finally, re: contributions to assist us with printing costs:

a. Non-profit organizations are not required to submit a contribution in order to be listed, but we do ask that a $25 contribution, if it is at all possible, be sent to help offset the cost of producing the directory.

b. For-profit businesses & professional listings, are required to send a $25 contribution.

c. Checks, payable to ASC-LV, can be mailed together with signed endorsement statements to: The Alliance, 1966 Creek Rd, Bethlehem PA 18015.
