Love Feast

Date/Time Sunday, January 14, 2018
from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Details

Join our Love Feast as we gather for nourishment and good company and joyful noise!

Please come and join us! Bring friends and neighbors. To counterbalance the recent divisiveness in our country, we wish to bring together rather than be complacent in the division, conflict and injustice. We welcome Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and all religions, races and backgrounds. We can find common ground in breaking bread together. Let us discuss and discover together what we have in common as well as what makes our world beautifully diverse. If you would like to share a story or tradition please be prepared to do so. You may leave a comment about your intention after this post.

Bring your favorite side-dish or sweet treat or beverage to share. The major portion of the meal will be prepared by Linda Bliss using the freshest ingredients to be found. All meats will be Halal, and vegan, vegetarian, and Kosher foods will be offered. We want you to feel honored and welcome, so please indicate in your RSVP what your dietary needs will be. Come even if you don’t have food to bring. Bring yourself and a friend.

Bring musical instruments. We have a few here. We’ll create music after our meal.

Come! Celebrate life, love, and the love of life!

Suggested donation $5-$25 to help us continue to grow and share at Morning Star.
