Lenape Trail Trees

The program is sponsored by Rural Awareness, a non-profit civic group in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County.

If you go to their website (page 2 of the Gallery), you will see a 600-pound stone mortar hewn by the Lenape and found in a branch of the Capoolong Creek. It is estimated to possibly be 4000 years old.
