Our military-industrial complex continues to produce fewer jobs per dollar invested than any other economic sector, and yet our military budget continues to grow, having doubled since 2001.
As Veterans for Peace, we work with others to increase public awareness of the costs of war. If you share our values and vision, join us as we strive to end war as an instrument of national policy. We meet every second Thursday at 6 pm at the LEPOCO Peace Center.
