Alliance for Sustainable Communities–Lehigh Valley


Promotes sustainability, advocating for the environment; individual and community rights; local economies producing for community needs and providing meaningful livelihoods; healthy food and food production; and healthy communities. We work to enhance the efforts of sustainability-minded organizations and to increase their collective action and influence. Projects we have initiated include: the Sustainability Commons virtual workspace, Transitions Lehigh Valley and Transitions U, Sustainable Lehigh Valley Directory, Website, our College Internship Program, and networking collaboratives leading toward a Green Shadow Government.
