Alliance for Sustainable Communities–Lehigh Valley

Profile

The Alliance acts as a catalyst and promoter of sustainability, broadly defined to include advocacy for the environment, individual and community rights, local economies producing for community needs and providing meaningful livelihoods, healthy food and food production, and healthy communities. We work to enhance the efforts of sustainability-minded organizations and also to increase their collective action and influence. We also initiate projects of our own via our working groups, major among them are Transitions Lehigh Valley, Directory, Website, and our College Internship Program.

Every week or two, the Alliance sends a ‘Sustainability Doings’ email listing sustainability events around the Lehigh Valley. If you’re not already receiving it, sign up for our email updates!
