Resist the Trump administration’s war on truth

One thing you can do to slow down the war against science and truth is to encourage any teachers you know — all subjects, all ages — to integrate climate change into their classes. If you know parents who have children in school, encourage them to do the same!  We have put a free guide for interdisciplinary teaching on climate & sustainability online at teach-climate.net.

Even in 2017, too many kids leave school without a real understanding of global warming & climate change!  In some school districts, teachers have avoided these subjects because the climate deniers would have you believe that climate change is political or controversial. They need to be told firmly that climate change is FACT.  (As physicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson said, “The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe in it.”)

P.S. —  Coming later this year: interdisciplinary teaching on food, health, & climate
